About me
We are all mad here.
Thanks for stopping by.
I’m Xabel (Isabel), an artist and graphic designer based in Berlin.
This website is my little weird world, a place to share what moves me.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be adding my projects, an online shop, blog, unreleased works, and some free resources.
My goals here:
➝ Sell my artworks
➝ Connect and collaborate
➝ Offer my services as a graphic designer and motion designer
Graphic Design
I am working part-time as a graphic designer at Drive beta, a Berlin-based production company, since four years, mainly in social media for Instagram and YouTube.
At my day job, I keep things clean and precise, mostly working on documentaries.
But here in my freelance world, I embrace the weird, the bold, and the trashy.
Need a flashy YouTube thumbnail? A bold Instagram post, a crazy reel or
an engaging story design? I’ve got you.
Are you...
✹ An indie fashion brand looking for wild visuals?
✹ A punk band that needs poster + merch designs?
✹ A digital creator with a nerdy fanbase?
Let’s talk! Just shoot me an email with your idea.
I work as a sustainable graphic designer. I prefer a thoughtful, slow-paced, and ethical approach. That means I’m not a huge fan of AI-driven design, not just because of its environmental impact, but also because faster isn’t always better.
I believe in thoughtful design that lasts, not fast content that fades.
Art
I grew up in an artist household, so art has always been a part of my life.
My work is multimedia. I start with a theme, then choose the medium:
Photo collages, video art, interactive installations, whatever tells the story best.
My practice often includes self-staged photography and video, dressing up as characters to explore different roles, narratives, and cultural topics. I also love collaborating with
other performers.
You’ll find my work online, but I’ve also exhibited in Germany, England, and Tokyo.
More about that in my art portfolio.
Interested in working together or showing my art?
Send me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
